Three statuesque beauties, arranging an urn of graceful lilies, which represents faith and purity and were very significant in Aguiar’s work.  The hand-painted “Azulejos,” Portuguese blue tiles, shown behind the women add a warmth that blends with the intricate patterns in the fabrics.
